Yosemite National Park
Yosemite National Park is an amazing National Park with so much to see and do. It is our favorite National Park (to date), which is saying a lot because all National Parks are amazing. We were here for two weeks and it was still not long enough. See more photographs of Yosemite.

Notes: |
Alert : A reservation required to enter the park between May and September. Create a Recreation.gov account and register for the days you plan on visiting. The pass is good for three days, which IMHO is not enough. However, the park is open 24 hours a day. You may enter the park without a reservation before 6:00 am or after 4:00 pm because there are no rangers at the entrance booths at that time, which also means they are not charging a fee! |

Yosemite Lakes RV Resort – Groveland, CA Review: Beautiful grounds and conveniently located 6 miles from the Big Oak Flat Entrance to Yosemite NP. We were situated by a creek – bring innertubes for the kids! Route alert : On the way to this RV Park, we took Route 120 coming from the west in our 44’ long Motorhome. It was a white-knuckle experience at best with its hairpin turns, very narrow shoulders, and limited guard rails. We recommend if you are towing a car to unhook it if possible before you ascend to Groveland. On our way to Nevada leaving the park, Tioga Pass (Route 120 through the park to Lee Vining) wasn’t as bad but want to caution here anyway. |
